The short answer
Everlens and POV both give guests a disposable camera from a QR code with no app download, and both have a free tier and apps for iPhone and Android. Choose POV for its track record, photobooks and business features. Choose Everlens for simple control over who sees the photos and a clear promise that guests never need an account.

Where POV is the better choice
If you want the app most people already know, POV is hard to beat. It has years of reviews behind it. It also offers photobooks and camera-roll uploads, and its business plans suit conferences and company events.
Where Everlens fits better
If you are planning a wedding or party and want to decide whether guests see the whole album or only their own photos, Everlens gives you that switch when you create the event. Guests join with no account and can save their favorites from the same link after the reveal. We keep your photos until you delete the event or your account.
Questions
Is Everlens the same as POV?
No. They are separate apps from separate companies, built on a similar idea: guests scan a QR code and get a disposable camera on their phone.
Can I try Everlens for free?
Yes. You can try it for free at a smaller event, like your bridal shower, and see how your guests use it.
Do Everlens guests need to download an app?
No. On iPhone, the QR code opens an instant App Clip. On every other phone, it opens in the browser. The camera opens straight away, with nothing to download and no sign-up. Only the host uses the app.
Is Everlens a subscription?
There is no subscription. The free tier covers small gatherings, and larger events use a one-time package. Guests never pay.
We make Everlens, so please read this with that in mind. We checked POV's details on its own website and the US App Store on 6 November 2026. "Not stated" means we could not find it there, not that the feature is missing. Spot something outdated? Email hello@wizarddynamics.com and we will fix it. POV is a trademark of its owner, and we are not affiliated with it.
