The short answer
Both apps give guests a disposable camera from a QR code with no app download, and both charge once per event with no subscription. Choose Once for its film-roll idea and unlimited shots as an add-on. Choose Everlens if you host on Android, or if you want guests to save photos without creating an account.

Where Once is the better choice
If the look of the film roll matters most to you, Once is a lovely choice. It also offers unlimited shots as an add-on and custom plans for events with more than 200 guests.
Where Everlens fits better
If you are hosting on Android, Everlens has an app for you. And your guests never need an account, not even to save their favorites after the reveal: they open the same link they used to join.
Questions
Is Everlens the same as Once?
No. They are separate apps from separate companies, built on a similar idea: guests scan a QR code and get a disposable camera on their phone.
Can I host an Everlens event on Android?
Yes. You can create your event in the iPhone or Android app, and guests on any phone can join.
Can I try Everlens for free?
Yes. You can try it for free at a smaller event, like your bridal shower, and see how your guests use it.
Is Everlens a subscription?
There is no subscription. The free tier covers small gatherings, and larger events use a one-time package. Guests never pay.
We make Everlens, so please read this with that in mind. We checked Once's details on its own website on 6 November 2026. Spot something outdated? Email hello@wizarddynamics.com and we will fix it. Once is a trademark of its owner, and we are not affiliated with it.
